Security Concerns

I try to use unique cryptographically strong and long passwords for each of my programs.

But this password sharing process seems to be a growing trend. Some programs logins ask for my Twitter or Facebook username and password. The more people who have access to my password, the greater the chance for a hacker to break in.

When you click "Remember Me", your Evernote username and password is stored in the Windows registry on your hard drive.  This info does not get stored or sent anywhere else.  Also, your password is stored in the registry using Triple DES encryption (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triple_DES - same as used by the electronic payment industry and by MS Outlook).

In terms of LastPass, unfortunately I don't believe it supports filling in forms on Windows applications, only web-based login forms.
